Ursula batzner passed through all departments in the vg ebern

After almost half a century of service with the ebern administrative community (VG), ursula batzner has now taken her well-deserved retirement. She went through all the departments during her time of service, and finally got stuck in the cashier's office.

"Few can do that today"

For exactly 48 years of service in the administration of the city of ebern and the VG ebern, the VG chairman and ebern mayor, jurgen hennemann, thanked ursula batzner a few days ago. "48 years with one employer – only a few people can do that today", jurgen hennemann was honored. Heidi jager, the mayor of pfarrweisach, ralf nowak, and her direct superiors, the head of the cashier's office, jochen greul, and the chamberlain, horst junge, joined in wishing the staff council a pleasant retirement.

On 16. In august 1972 ursula batzner was employed as a typist by the city of ebern, whereupon she took part in the introductory course for the administrative service (ELV I) and successfully passed the administrative exam in 1974/75.

All developments

Ursula batzner worked in the main administration and, from august 1973, in the residents' registration office. Eventually, she was called to troubleshoot at the city treasury, which marked her entry into the cashier's career. She also took over a position in the city's public works department. Her final transfer to the city treasury took place in may 1975, and there she experienced all the developments in the treasury business.

"From bookkeeping by means of entries in budget books to the introduction of EDP in the administration in 1976 to data processing in the system and online banking, you have been involved in all developments and have always learned the ropes quickly", the VG chairman hennemann stated. From 1. December 1985 she was also deputy treasurer. After a parental leave, she returned to work as a part-time employee in the chamber, whereupon she switched back to the cashier's office.
